Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal if at 4pm on Fri Aug 21 at St. Anthonys Church and we will be going to Polcaris for drinks and food afterwards. I'll give everyone a call to make sure you know when and where to be.

Few Things...

Ok... only 25 days till the BIG day. Wow how time flies. So a few things:

If you havent sent in your rsvp please do so or call me and let me know if you are able to make it to the wedding so I can add you to our guest list. Please call me at 617-461-2723.

Also, I have extended the reserved hotel block of rooms so you have until August 4 to reserve a room at the Sheraton Hotel... The details are in my earlier post. If you call and there arent any more rooms, just call me and let me know and I will ask the hotel to reserve more.

Invitations in the Mail

Hi again,

Everyone should be receiving our wedding invitations any day now. Please rsvp by 07/22/09 and pick whether you would like Prime Rib or the Chicken Cordon Bleu - both are delicious!...it's a tough choice.

Also, if you plan on reserving a hotel room, check out my earlier post for the details. The deadline to reserve a room is 07/21/09.

Thank you for my bridal shower

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to say thank you for the beautiful surprise bridal shower and all the wonderful gifts. I am using many of them already =)

It was so great to see everyone!!!! The food was excellent and Leslie thank you for making that delicious cake.

Can't wait for the wedding---50 more days!. We are all going to have such a fun time.

Invitations Coming Soon

We will be sending our wedding invitations very soon.....Asking for a response by 07/22/09 so we can have our final head count...stay tuned.

We blocked off rooms for 08/21 and 08/22 at:

The cost is $99 per night plus tax for either a Queen or Double Non-Smoking room.

You can make reservations by calling Reservations at 781-284-7200 and referencing the Nicolosi Drigotas Wedding Block.

The deadline to reserve your rooms is July 21. Mike and I will be staying there, so we hope to have as many of you there so we can have an afterparty :)

Menu Tasting - Found our favorite dishes

Went to Nahant Country Club and tried all types of food yesterday. We all agreed that the Prime Rib and Chicken Cordon Bleu were the most tastiest. We are so happy we picked this place for our reception. The food is excellent!

His Turn - Getting the Tux

Mike is trying on tuxes tomorrow. It'll be alot of fun seeing him all dressed up.

Our Registry

I just signed up for our wedding registry. Nothing there yet. I'm still trying to figure this out :)

This is the website: www.myregistry.com

It's not your typical registry and may be a little confusing. If you click on a gift the website will redirect to you to the store the gift can be purchased at and then you need indicate in the myregistry website that the gift was purchased. I dont think it automatically does it for you.... I chose it because I can choose gifts from any store and not limited to just one store. It's pretty cool. The demo really helps in case you get stuck.

Flowers

I picked the colors for my bridesmaid flowers.

They will be a combination of hot pink, light pink, cream and green. I think these colors are really pretty and will look really good with the chocolate and champagne bridesmaid dress and really stand out.

This pic gives an idea. Its not exact. I am going to have green orchids in there.
